Moise Basinza is a prominent Bassist, Song writer, Composer and Founder of “A Different Long Run,” originally from DRC Congo but is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.

He is highly regarded in the music scene for his versatility in various musical genres including Gospel, Jazz and Afro-Fusion.
He has also served as the bassist for the popular ensemble, Nairobi Horns Project (NHP), and has also featured on the NairoBass series as an artist.

Isaac Mugunda, fondly known as “Izzo,” is a legendary Kenyan guitarist celebrated for his versatility across jazz, alternative, and world music. Widely regarded as one of Kenya’s current masters of the instrument, Izzo is known for both his technical brilliance and his deep emotional feel.

His career spans countless recordings and collaborations with some of Kenya’s biggest artists. Beyond performing, he is also a respected music director, educator, and mentor, with notable leadership roles in projects with the Permanent Presidential Music Commission.

What an incredible evening we had this past Sunday at the Ghetto Classics All Stars Jazz Concert! It was a resounding success, and the air was simply electric with amazing music!

We had such a wonderful time this past weekend with the team from who had their Ghetto Classics All Stars Jazz Concert that was truly a success!

Featuring phenomenal artists; Toine Thys, Karl Jannuska, Mackinlay Mutsembi and Juma Tutu and the Ghetto Classics All Stars Students.Your passion, skill, and dedication made the night unforgettable! 🙏

Join us for an unforgettable evening on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at the Sarakasi Dome Theatre - Ngara Road.

Come dance to the live brass sounds of this amazing project curated by two internationally renowned Jazz musicians, Toine Thys (.thys ) and Karl Jannuska ( ) in collaboration with the brilliant students from Ghetto Classics.

This special night will also feature incredible Kenyan Guest artists Mackinlay () and Juma Tutu () adding even more sparkle to an already dazzling lineup.

Proceeds made from ticket purchases go directly to supporting the Ghetto Classics music school program nurturing the dreams and talents of these incredible young musicians.

Next Tuesday is debut! Pascal released his amazing debut album a few months ago; and shall be performing it live for the first time next Tuesday. This is also his first appearance ever as leader, and we are honoured that he chose .cafe for this occasion. #
Pascal is an exciting keyboardist and pianist who has made a name working with many acts, as a performer, producer and music director. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
