Aircart, a Kenyan startup, has launched its platform to enable users sell digital products via smart links.

“Our key markets and the ones that have been driving most of the activity are India, the United States, Kenya and Nigeria. These four countries account for more than 90 per cent of our user base. We have plans to expand to more countries, and at the moment our concentration is on African countries,” Co-founded by Shadrack Apollo, Wyclif Okwiri said.

Users upload a product, add their preferred payment method, and immediately receive a shareable link they can directly earn from.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated five persons for appointment to the Offices of Chairperson and Member of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights.

President Uhuru named Prof. Marion Mutugi Wanjiku, Dr. Raymond Plal Sang Nyeris, Ms. Sarah Talaso Bonaya, and Dr. Dennis Nyongesa Wamalwa as members of the Commission.

The Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs will conduct the requisite approval hearings.

Paylend, a Kenyan fintech startup focused on providing access to finance and digitizing MSMEs in Kenya, has raised a $2 million seed investment from Next Chymia Consulting HK Limited, an Asian-based company.

Kirinyaga County has launched a campaign to immunize 32,000 girls aged 10 to 14 against cervical cancer. According to County Health Director George Karoki, the 100-day exercise will take place in primary schools to reach as many girls as possible when the school opens in January.
