📢 Now open: German-Kenyan academic partnership on applied and responsible AI!

The call for proposals to establish a Centre of Applied and Responsible Artificial Intelligence in Kenya has now been published as part of the DAAD programme “Centres of African Excellence”.

German universities are invited to partner with Kenyan higher education institutions to jointly establish and develop a centre dedicated to applied and responsible AI.

Funded by the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany and the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt initiative aims to strengthen teaching, research, and knowledge transfer in AI for the common good while building long-term and equitable academic collaboration.

🚀 German universities interested in shaping international AI cooperation are encouraged to explore the call and apply now.
