It is with heavy hearts that the Executive Committee and members of the Aeronautical Information Management Association of Kenya (AIMAK) share the news of the sudden passing of our dear colleague, Ms. Nancy Maangi, on September 27th, 2026. Nancy served as Assistant Director for Aeronautical Information Management, and in that role she was more than a leader — she was a steady hand our profession could rely on. She oversaw the operations and training at the AIM department. Her dedication to ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient global air navigation through robust information management left an indelible mark on our profession. She also served as a former AIMAK Vice President and was passionate about AIM's growth and evolution. Those of us who knew her will remember not just her expertise, but her character: the professionalism and integrity she carried into every room she entered.

Our thoughts are with her family, her friends, and her colleagues across the aviation community as we all grieve this loss together. She will be deeply missed
