Jitegemee Kenya Pamoja Initiative (JKP) is a community based
Self Help Group Project registered with the office of the (DGSDO)
Makadara District on 10th May 2010. The Youth Group Project is located at Off South B, Aoko Rd in
Songa Mbele na Masomo Project and Mukuru Kayaba Slum Area

The Group was designed to identify possible income generating
Activities among the young people that will enable them avoid high
Crime areas and teach them vocational skills, do research on-line
And develop projects that will sustain their day to day livelihoods

To integrate urban slum livelihood in food security, through innovations, Start income generation projects, leadership and mentoring for empowerment Of young people and women to be self sufficient, reliant and reach their God Given talents, potentials by securing a bridge to micro-finance initiatives (MFI) And access self employment opportunities
JKP TARGET GROUP
The JKP Initiative Self Help Group Project targets young people
All youth and women that are talented, innovative, vulnerable,
Disabled, needy and idle, the beneficiaries will be mentored, trained
To be self reliant, peer educators so that they can transfer the
Knowledge gained to other young people women and community members
