• You need surveillance that lets you see what’s happening even when you’re not there

• You need biometric attendance systems that give you accurate staff accountability, not guesswork

• You need well-designed networks, DNS configuration, firewalls, and reliable troubleshooting

• You need clean, labeled cable management — not world-class offices hiding messy server rooms

• You need buildings designed to be digitally smart from day one, not patched later

some of multiple risks collide at the wrong time that make outdoor cabinet hard

• Electrical short circuits from loose or overloaded cables

• Faulty solar components such as controllers, batteries, or inverters

• Overheating caused by poor ventilation and direct sunlight

• Rainwater ingress due to inadequate sealing

• Lightning or power surges without proper grounding or surge protection

Developers! developers!... when you’re planning a new structure, involve all the right experts from the start, The same way you bring plumbers & electricians, your IT/network technicians should also be part of that conversation.

Network and data cabling aren’t “just wires.” They’re part of your building’s digital backbone powering your CCTV, Wi-Fi, VTO, smart systems, and future upgrades. Now in such build a freshly plastered building where the electrician as already done the conduit work, but guess what?

All the pipework for data is wrongly routed and terminated at the wrong points.

No network drawings, no provisions for data closets, and zero allowance for structured cabling. Now we have to chisel walls again, reroute conduits, and waste both time and money fixing what could have been right from day one.

Hive Systems releases an updated Password Table, long passwords ain't solving it.

Their April 2025 report took things up a notch by testing password on twelve NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs

1. An 8-character password (even with symbols and numbers) can be cracked in under an hour. But once you stretch that to 12–16 characters, the time jumps from hours… to centuries

It’s a reminder that in today’s world, even the smartest password can’t stand alone.
Add Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) wherever possible, and consider using password managers or generation.

Key takeaway for 2025:
✅ Focus on length
✅ Use unique passwords per account
✅ Always pair with MFA

Ever tried connecting to Wi-Fi and it just keeps saying “connected, no internet”? You restart the router, even change your position hoping for a miracle, but still nothing moves.

Well, here’s a sneaky culprit most people don’t think about: your DHCP pool is full.

Basically, your router hands out “IP addresses” to every device that connects phones, TVs, laptops, even that smart bulb you forgot about. When the pool of available addresses runs out, new devices can connect to the Wi-Fi but won’t actually access the internet. It’s like giving everyone at a party a seat but forgetting to serve them food.

I’ve seen this happen a lot in small offices and homes with many smart devices. The fix is pretty simple though:

1. Log in to your router, go to the DHCP settings, and increase the IP address range.

2. better, reduce lease time so old, inactive devices release their IPs faster.

3. And if you want to go pro set static IPs for key devices (like servers or CCTV systems) to keep things organized.

Lesson learned: sometimes your Wi-Fi problem isn’t your internet it’s your IP management.

Running an ISP in this country isn’t as simple as just “plug and play.” First, you need to fight your way through a mountain of government paperwork—then keep greasing a few palms every month just to stay in business.

Next challenge: the buildings. You’d think getting permission to run cables would be straightforward, but no. Caretakers and building managers suddenly become “gatekeepers of the internet.” Miss their monthly “appreciation,” and your infrastructure might mysteriously get damaged while the competitor who pays extra keeps sailing smoothly.

And then come the streets—where the real drama unfolds. Here, you’re up against thieves, scrap metal dealers, rivals, and anyone with a hacksaw and spare time. These guys will watch you invest in poles, cables, and connections, let you get the network running, and then… snip! Your hard work disappears overnight, sold for scraps.

So when people ask, “Why don’t you sell internet anymore?” I just smile. It’s not because I can’t—it’s because surviving as an ISP sometimes feels more like starring in an action movie than running a business.
