“At first, I thought I was just helping him manage his calendar... but I soon realized I was helping him manage his vision.”
That’s how my journey as an Executive Virtual Assistant began supporting a CEO in the tour and travel industry.
What started as day-to-day admin quickly evolved into something bigger.
I found myself stepping in not just to schedule meetings, but to anticipate priorities, solve problems before they surfaced, and keep the engine running behind the scenes.
And I loved it.
The fulfillment didn’t just come from ticking tasks off a to-do list, it came from the trust that grew, the impact I could make, and the peace of mind I gave someone who had a million things on their plate.
As I grew in the role, I realized:
Being a high-level EVA means never standing still.
I constantly update my skills, from AI tools to CRMs to project management systems, because staying relevant is part of staying valuable.
It’s not just about knowing how to do the work, it’s about thinking ahead.
💡 My biggest realization?
I’m not just a support system.
I’m a strategic partner.
Someone who can think like a CEO, foresee challenges, and make decisions that align with a bigger picture.
That’s what keeps me motivated every day.
The chance to help leaders lead, without the burnout.
