Why Everything Disc Assessments?

I like the Everything DiSC assessment for many reasons, not least how accurately it describes your strengths from which you anchor everything else..

It acknowledges that we all have all the personalities in us, just one or two are more pronounced, that no type is better than another. Its intention is not to box any person but to open a window of understanding and dialogue hence building effective, harmonious and healthy relationships with ourselves and with others. Understanding who we are and accepting 100 % our perfection as a human being is the beginning point of transformation, it is the first step into discovering and ‘Knowing’ the answer to the double question of Who Am I? and Why Am I Here? It is the cornerstone of ‘seeing’ with Divine eyes and agreeing with the Divine Word. And as I said in a previous post this is the adventure we are on in this pages.

What is Spiritual Intelligence?

I like the definition by Bob Anderson in his article titled The Spirit of Leadership and I quote ‘ Spiritual Intelligence is the literacy in navigating the pathways of transformation. It is the art and practice of inner and outer evolution. It is learning how to progressively live fully in body, mind and spirit. It is navigating the journey from the Egocentric orientation of youth through the Reactive and Creative self-stages, to the Integral self, and finally surrendering into Divine union and sacred service.’

With the end in Mind we next explore the Divine union.

I read somewhere that Harvard and INSEAD see Meditation and Intuition as the most effective business tools for the 21st Century. The Etymology of Intuition says it denotes spiritual insight or immediate spiritual communication, direct or immediate cognition , Spiritual perception , sixth sense … And the etymology of Meditation says contemplation, devout preoccupation , devotions, prayer, sigh or murmur, thought, ponder ,practice of meditation…..

My understanding is that in other words, according to the most respected universities for business education and thought leadership on various subjects, The practice of devout preoccupation will give us the spiritual insights for effectiveness and success in today’s world!!! How amazingly simple is this Truth!

I invite you to take a journey with me in these pages as I share what I am now Knowing as I learn, study and meditate on the subjects of Spiritual Intelligence (Intuition) . My intention is that we will be on a journey of integrating all the pieces into the whole- head, heart and hand, deeply grounded in the ‘Knowing’ from the Creator and the Source as revealed through Spiritual sources; majorly the Bible , Spiritual teachers and Leadership thought leaders.
