Feminist research advances several reasons why women do not support each other in organizations. I asked one or the social worker involved in the polio campaign about the Catholic clerics' hullabaloo about the vaccine, she was very calm and told me to ignore the Bishops and have children vaccinated since there is no family planning method in the market that lasts for more than 5 years. Then I also wonder why one would target under-fives for family planning when the main culprits are teenagers, university students, career women among others. It is naive to have a family planning strategy targeting toddlers. Dr Muraguri just said on NTV that the same circus started in Northern Nigeria by the majority Muslims who claimed that the WHO was introducing HIV and family planning tricks to wipe out the blacks through backdoor disguised as vaccines. The result, 12 years of serious battle to kick out polio in this region with too many lame children and fatalities. Our clerics are at it again opposing use of condoms? Please good people use those things the church cannot guarantee you a slot in heaven therefore don't believe all they say. Let common sense reign and let us learn to question logic regardless of source.
