The visa on arrival for Kenya was discontinued at the end of 2020. From January 1, 2021, tourist visas are only available online. The change is part of the Kenyan government’s move towards digitalization.

How to Get a Visa for Kenya Now
Travelers from previous Kenya visa on arrival countries now need to apply for an electronic visa. Visit visas cannot be obtained at Kenyan representations, either.
Applicants provide the same basic personal details and passport information. Instead of filling out the Kenya visa application form on arrival, travelers complete all paperwork electronically, from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Visas are processed and issued by email in 5 to 8 working days. Travelers must print the visa and present it to Kenyan border officials.
