POSITION: Wealth Manager

Our client is looking for a Wealth Manager to spearhead their expansion into Nairobi. This role is ideal for seasoned wealth managers/financial advisors with a strong network among high- net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, institutions and family offices.

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth Fundraising:
Raise USD 5 million in Assets Under Management (AUM) from HNW/UHNW clients, family offices, and institutions.
Develop and execute fundraising strategies, securing long-term investor partnerships.
Market Development Partnerships:
Build strategic alliances with financial institutions, family offices, and distribution partners. Engage with regulatory bodies and market stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
Wealth Management Estate Planning:
Provide tailored wealth management solutions to HNW/UHNW clients.
Offer estate planning services, including trust structuring, succession planning, and tax optimization. - Leverage their global expertise to deliver premium investment solutions to Kenyan investors.
Strategic Operational Ex*****on:
Operate independently from Nairobi while collaborating with their partners.
Deliver regular market insights, performance updates, and reports to senior management. Ensure all business activities comply with and international regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, or family offices.
• Relevant financial certifications (CFA, CFP, CAIA preferred but not required).
• Existing relationships with Kenyan HNW/UHNW individuals and institutions.

Our client, a leading organization applying behavioral science to complex development challenges, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to lead high-impact research and advisory engagements for governments, donors, NGOs, and private sector partners.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead client engagements from project scoping through delivery and dissemination.
✅ Manage relationships with donors, ministries, implementing partners, and private sector stakeholders.
✅ Design and oversee qualitative and mixed-methods research studies.
✅ Translate behavioral insights into actionable recommendations.
✅ Manage project timelines, budgets, teams, and deliverables.
✅ Mentor and develop junior research and advisory staff.
✅ Contribute to business development, proposals, and sector thought leadership.

Requirements
✔️ 5–8 years' experience in research, advisory, or program design roles
✔️ Strong background in food systems, agriculture, or climate resilience
✔️ Expertise in qualitative research methods (IDIs, FGDs, thematic analysis, synthesis) ✔️ Proven experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects
✔️ Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
✔️ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Master's degree in a relevant discipline
⭐ Experience applying behavioral science in agriculture or climate adaptation
⭐ Familiarity with Stata, R, or Python
⭐ Experience with experimental or quasi-experimental research designs
⭐ Strong networks within East or West African food systems and climate ecosystems
