A Security Sales Executive drives revenue by selling security solutions (alarms, CCTV, access control, guarding) to new and existing clients, requiring market research, client consultation, needs assessment, proposal writing, negotiation, and relationship building, all while meeting sales targets and staying updated on industry trends to provide tailored, cost-effective security strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Prospect for new clients, manage existing accounts, achieve sales quotas, and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
Client Engagement: Conduct site surveys, present/demonstrate products, understand client needs, and build strong relationships.
Solutions & Proposals: Design tailored security solutions, prepare cost estimates, write proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Market Expertise: Stay current on security trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to position products effectively.
Reporting & Coordination: Track sales, report progress, and collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams.
Core Duties:
Make sales calls (phone, email, in-person) and presentations.
Deliver security system demos and provide technical advice.
Analyze client requirements from drawings, RFIs, and SOWs.
Follow up on quotes and secure signed contracts.
Monitor customer satisfaction and gather feedback.
Participate in industry events and promotions.
