ARE WE IN FINANCIAL CRISIS?
Political temperatures which have heated the economy for a better part of the year is slowly cooling down, our economy has completely been crushed down!!..The unfortunate effects of political crisis as a result of demos, boycotts and tribal divisions have been felt directly or indirectly.
BUT,has all these robbed us our wealthy? Maybe, maybe not.
Firstly what wealth? Kaline enterprises defines wealth as "the ability to comfortably live your life within your standards without having to work for it".one might wonder who will work for it!!That's right.
The answer is in our saving, spending and investing habits..
For those of us with a pay cheque at the end of the month,we are lucky..but did you know that a salary is a bribe to keep you enslaved to help someone achieve his/her own goals? That's a lesson for another day.
You have been keen on clock and end month is approaching, you can't hide the anxiety to receive this pay cheque, an endless list of things to do with this salary ranging from ;outings with family or loved ones,a new model of mobile phone in the market,a classic gambling site opening in the neighbourhoods and many more SPENDING IDEAS,is ready awaiting implementation..In a weeks or less time, you have spent every single coin from your salary without a thought of tomorrow, for the rest of the month, its just survival and counting days to pay day and the cycle continues....
For us with small undertakings that will bring us a bread on the table at the end of the day,we are equally lucky, unless those who work in office for a better part of the day,we are exposed and we enjoy the freedom of being our own bosses! But how do we make this freedom useful??. Do we expose ourselves to more challenging endeavours in business, how do we ensure that a profit of sh.50 at the closure if the day is not enough? What's the plan to expand our businesses by not necessarily extending the physical premise but use the little we get from it to venture into other big investments? How much savings have we made from our businesses??
We are not in financial crisis, what's ailing us is FINANCIAL INDISCIPLINE ...We have to differentiate between spending, saving and investing.............,.......
