Light upon Olga Hawwa
Back of House Director, RI Fashion Week

Olga has been a member of the Donahue group for over 25 years coordinating fashion shows, teaching makeup classes, managing the backstage excitement, and being an all around assistant. She enjoyed a successful career as an esthetician, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist before retiring to spend more time with her family. Olga has a passion for making a difference in the community. She currently serves as a board member of The Autism Project and co-founded Gravity Gives RI, which supports local fundraising efforts through music, art, and fashion. She has been recognized as a Partner in Philanthropy by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for her charitable efforts. The eternal fashion diva, Olga enjoys playing dress up with her granddaughters in her spare time.

One on one with Karen Greene
Director of Hospitality, RI Fashion Week
After retiring from the Providence School System, Karen launched Secrets In The Kitchen, where she produces the tastiest marinara sauce at Hope and Main, a food incubator in Warren, RI. It’s the first of two sauces that will be in production. She was recently featured on The Rhode Show. A wife, a mother, a stepmother, a grandmother, Karen loves Rhode Island oceans and spends much of her time there. Growing up, she spent time by her mother's side every Sunday cooking for the family and has been blessed with the gifts of recipes handed down from her grandfather who was her inspiration. She loves gardening, winemaking, and her Limoncello and Coffee Liqueurs have won medals. Karen also teaches classes on fresh pasta making, makes her own sausage, dabbles in making cheese, and loves the RI restaurant and entertainment scene.

Yemi is the president of Donahue Models & Talent, LLC, Rhode Island’s oldest and most successful modeling agency. Her company books some of New England’s top professional models and talent and works with many corporate giants across the region to help them launch successful advertising campaigns and convey critical marketing messages. Yemi has a bachelor’s degree in education, a post-graduate diploma in marketing, and an MBA. She has over 40 years of experience in various areas of the fashion and entertainment industry, including theater, tv, film, print, and runway. Yemi also hosts Fashion Fete, a virtual fashion & beauty series that showcases the works of apparel and accessory designers from all over the world.

Sophia is an ambitious trained independent model who dedicates her time to work with teenagers and adults to develop their modeling skills. Her passion is to help and educate others on the awareness of self-love and good eating habits. Sophia’s current goal of becoming a plant-based certified culinary chef has certainly opened up new opportunities to build skills in this area.
