Karatina open air market is Kenya second largest open air market after Kongowea market in Mombasa. The market is in Nyeri county 30Km from Nyeri Town and 130Km from Nairobi Kenya almost 2hr drive. The market is managed by County Government of Nyeri and holds more than 3,000 traders selling and buying different farm product, fruits, veggies, cereals, and other products. In this platform we will be connecting farmers and traders by providing accurate information of prices during market days which are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdays.

The former president Emilio Stanley Mwai Kibaki has this evening been laid to rest at his home in Kanyange, Othaya. Kibaki passed on at the age of 90.
