Better collection. Protected milk. Stronger cooperative connections. 🥛

Ngusishi Dairy on their recent visit brought an important challenge into focus: milk rejection and collection difficulties can push farmers to sell to brokers instead.

The proposed approach combines Nomad Cans for first-mile milk preservation with a cooling-equipped tuk-tuk for aggregation and collection.

The ambition? Help more milk reach the cooperative and make supplying the society a more practical choice for farmers.

Because the cold chain is not just about keeping milk cool. It is also about connecting farmers to the market.

We are currently deploying practical infrastructure for Nandi Milk Processing Plant, including work tables, seating, milk packaging stands, storage units mounted to the tables, additional storage units, and a dedicated wash-area table with a sink.

Each piece has a role to play in creating a more organised and functional processing environment.

From handling and packaging to storage and cleaning, good infrastructure helps people do the work better.

Last week, we delivered another set of Nomad Cans and cooling cubes to space.ai

Their early feedback:

✅ The cans are cooling the milk without problems.
✅ No spoilage has been reported since they started using them.
🔎 Temperature monitoring is now underway to give us even more data from the field.
