ONLY CHANGE IS PERMANENT

Have you lived with a problem for so long that it now feels normal?

Perhaps it is a financial struggle, a health condition, a difficult marriage, ministry stagnation, a delayed breakthrough, or people who never miss an opportunity to ridicule you.

If you’re not careful, you can begin to believe that this is how life will always be.

But hear this today: your current situation is not your permanent destination.

There was a time when using the Thika Superhighway was a nightmare. People left their homes as early as 3:00 a.m. to beat the traffic. Some spent hours stranded on the road. I remember arriving home at 2:00 a.m., taking a quick bath, and leaving again at 3:00 a.m. for work.

Fatigue became normal.

Frustration became routine.

Sacrifice became a way of life.

Yet today, that same road tells a different story.

The traffic changed.

If a highway can change, your situation can change too.

The God we serve is the Unchanging God who changes circumstances. He opens doors that no one can shut. He heals what doctors cannot heal. He restores what life has stolen. He makes rivers in deserts and creates pathways where none existed.

Your season of tears will not last forever.

Your sickness is not permanent.

Your delay is not permanent.

Your rejection is not permanent.

Your struggle is not permanent.

A new chapter is coming.

“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalms 30:5

Refuse to give up. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep serving God faithfully.

Your morning is closer than you think.

The Miracle of the Breakfast Table

George Müller cared for thousands of orphans in Bristol. He made a remarkable commitment that he would never ask people for money. Instead, he would take every need to God in prayer and trust Him to provide.

One morning, the cupboards were completely empty. There was no bread, no milk, and no money to buy food. Yet Müller instructed the children to sit at the breakfast table as usual.

With the children seated, he thanked God for the meal they were about to receive—even though there was no food in sight.

Just as the prayer ended, there was a knock at the door.

A baker stood outside and said that during the night he had felt God urging him to bake bread for the orphanage. He had brought enough fresh bread for all the children.

A few moments later, there was another knock.

A milkman’s cart had broken down right outside the orphanage. Since the milk would spoil before the cart could be repaired, he asked if the orphanage could use it.

That morning, every child ate a full breakfast.

The Lesson

George Müller’s life teaches us that God knows our needs before we speak them. Prayer is not merely a religious exercise—it is a way of placing our complete confidence in God’s faithfulness.

As Müller often demonstrated through his life:

“Where God guides, God provides.”

His testimony continues to inspire millions to trust God, even when every cupboard appears empty.

We can learn from the crowd of witnesses who went ahead of us.

WHAT THEY NEVER TOLD YOU

Many people spend their lives competing with others or trying to copy lifestyles they know very little about.

They see someone driving a good car, living in a beautiful house, traveling frequently, or sitting at tables with influential people. They hear stories of success, achievement, and prosperity. What they rarely see is the journey behind the glory.

What they never told you is that every visible success has an invisible story.

There were days of struggle before the breakthrough.
There were seasons of rejection before acceptance.
There were tears before the smiles.
There were sacrifices before the celebrations.
There were lessons learned through failure before success became visible.

The danger of comparison is that you compare your beginning with someone else’s middle or end. You measure your current chapter against a story whose previous pages you have never read.

Not everyone is running the same race. Not everyone started from the same place. Not everyone carries the same assignment from God.

Wisdom teaches us to focus on the path God has marked for us. When you walk according to His purpose, trust His timing, and remain faithful in your season, He guides your steps and establishes your future.

Success is not measured only by money. True prosperity includes peace of mind, good health, strong relationships, contentment, purpose, and the favor of God. A person can have wealth and still lack joy. Another may have little material possession but live a rich and fulfilled life.

Stop being distracted by displays of luxury and appearances. Gold shines because it has passed through fire. Every meaningful achievement has a process attached to it.

Do not despise your process.

Keep working.
Keep praying.
Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep trusting God.

Your journey is unique, and your timing is different. Just because your harvest has not arrived today does not mean your seed is not growing.

Encourage yourself. You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not failing because your story looks different from someone else’s.

Walk faithfully with God, give your best every day, and allow Him to write your story. In His perfect time, your season will come.

Remember: The greatest success is not becoming like someone else; it is becoming everything God created you to be.

WHEN MAN DECLARES THE END, GOD BEGINS

There comes a moment in life when human strength runs out…Doors close. Options disappear. Voices say, “It is finished.”

But heaven does not panic where man gives up.

What looks like an ending to man is often just the starting line for God.

When people said it was over for Joseph in the pit God was just beginning a journey to the palace.

When Lazarus was declared dead and buried—God was preparing to reveal His glory.

When the cross looked like defeat—resurrection was already on the way.

Man sees limitation. God sees opportunity.
Man concludes. God continues.

So when you hear:
“It’s too late.”
“Nothing more can be done.”
“This is the end.”

Remember this truth:

God specializes in starting where man stops.

Your ending is not final if God is involved.
Your closed chapter can become God’s greatest testimony.

Hold on. Trust Him. Stay in faith.
Because right at the point of your breaking…
God is just beginning. 🙏
