A few days ago I saw a post by Perpetua Mwangi saying she would be delivering mushrooms in Thika. I had never cooked or even tasted mushrooms before, but I told myself, “Let me try this out.”

Yesterday she delivered them, and immediately I started searching for recipes. I picked one from TikTok and got to work in the kitchen. Chop chop chop… done. Put oil… onions till golden brown… dooone. Add tomatoes… dooone. I was fully inspired by the Roaming Chef and his balcony kitchen vibes 😂

Let me tell you… I was licking my fingers tiga tu! Kwani mushrooms ni nyama? 😅🍄

A suspect linked to repeated theft incidents at ACK Church Kamwangi was captured on CCTV and later arrested inside the church while attempting another theft. He was found in possession of some of the tools and materials allegedly used to break into the church.

Following his arrest, he led church members and police officers to Githurai, where some of the stolen items had reportedly been sold. He is currently being held at Kamwangi Police Station as investigations continue.

To those terrorizing the people of Kamwangi through theft and criminal activities, your days are numbered. The law will catch up with you.
