The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry is registered as a not-for-profit private company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act Chapter 486 of the laws of Kenya. Before the promulgation of the Kenyan Constitution in August 2010, the KNCCI had its main operations at the head office in Nairobi with regional offices in the major towns in Kenya. However, after the promulgation of the constitution, the Chamber amended the legal instrument to establish a National Office and County Chamber’s offices in all the 47 Counties. The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) is a membership based trade support institution (TSI) working to protect commercial and industrial interests of Kenyan business community. KNCCI advocates for the creation of a favorable commercial, trade and investment environment that supports enterprise expansion. The membership of KNCCI constitutes small, micro enterprises (MSEs), medium and large enterprises.

The Inaugural Kenya National Chamber of commerce & Industry- Kwale county CEOs Breakfast was a resounding success!

Under the theme "Unlocking Investment Opportunities in Kwale," the forum brought together County Government leadership, CEOs, investors, financial institutions, and the business community for meaningful dialogue on strengthening Kwale's investment climate and fostering public-private partnerships.

We were honoured by the presence of H.E. Chirema Kombo, Deputy Governor of Kwale County, Hon. Michael Mutua, CECM Trade & Tourism, Hon. Roman Shera, CECM Agriculture, Mr. Shakir Swaleh, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry - KNCCI National Director representing the Chamber President, and Ms. Fatma Salim, Chairperson of KNCCI Lamu Chapter.

KNCCI Kwale sincerely appreciates all the CEOs and stakeholders who participated and contributed to the success of this landmark forum. Today, the Capacity Building for Suppliers on the eGP System was officially launched in Kwale. This is a national initiative aimed at empowering suppliers across Kenya to participate effectively in government procurement.

The program was organised by the Kenya National Chamber of commerce & Industry- Kwale county in partnership with the National Treasury and Economic Planning. It was officially opened by our chairman, Abubakar Mkumbuka Banzi

The training will equip suppliers with practical skills in registration, e-bidding, bid security, and e-contract management. It is designed to promote transparency, efficiency, and increased business participation nationwide.

Our director in charge of women in business, Madam Jane Nyaga also graced the occasion.
