On behalf of our client, Lake Elementaita Manor, we’re hiring an IT Support Officer who understands that in hospitality, technology is ultimately about people and the guest experience. We’re seeking a practical, reliable and solutions-oriented professional who can keep our technology running smoothly and support our teams when they need it most.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
• Troubleshooting Wi-Fi, network and hardware issues
• Supporting PMS, POS and other hotel systems
• Providing day-to-day IT support to staff
• Supporting and training colleagues on technology
• Liaising with system and technology vendors
• Supporting the Reservations team with online booking platforms and OTAs
• Ensuring technology supports smooth hotel operations and guest service

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼:
• Has training in IT, ICT, Computer Science or a related field
• Is confident in computer systems, networking and troubleshooting
• Is a practical problem-solver who follows issues through to resolution
• Communicates clearly and works well with different teams
• Is professional, dependable and service-oriented
• Is interested in building a career in hospitality technology

Previous hotel experience will be an advantage. However, we are also open to strong IT professionals from other industries who are willing to learn and adapt to hospitality systems.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
Our microcredit/microfinance client is seeking an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and managing all branch staff to ensure optimal productivity. They will have a proven track record of managing sales performance within a microcredit or microfinance environment and the ability to lead and foster a high-performing team and culture.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
• Carrying out opening duties by, heading team briefs and assigning employee their tasks for the day
• Supervising and manage staff at the branch level and ensure their performance targets are met
• Managing office operations such as rent payments, permits, petty cash and any other payment.
• Training and coach new staff so that they understand company products and services
• Overseeing and monitor the performance of staff portfolios
• Analyzing the market and advise on risks and how to mitigate them
• Assessing local market conditions and identify current and prospective opportunities
• Ensuring branch goals and targets are met
• Market the branch within the community to attract business
• Carry out closing duties by reconciling daily collections, disbursements and ensuring they are captured correctly on the system
• Travel across the area for business development.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• Diploma/ degree in business administration or any other business-related course
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership specifically from a microfinance/ microcredit Industry
• Ability to manage multiple sales team and deliver results.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong leadership skills
• Proactive and good listener
• Good performance management skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• High Computer skills
• Good track records of delivering sales targets.
