The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and securing corporate accounts within the hospitality, travel, events, or conference sectors.

Our client, a reputable hospitality establishment based in Gilgil, Nakuru County, is seeking to recruit an experienced and hands-on Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Guest Relations while ensuring high service standards, guest satisfaction, staff accountability, revenue growth, and effective cost control.

โ€ข Implement operational policies and procedures.
โ€ข Manage departmental performance and accountability.
โ€ข Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operational efficiency.
โ€ข Control costs and minimize operational wastage.
โ€ข Inspect guest rooms, facilities, and public areas.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

โ€ข Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

โ€ข Experience managing properties with 30โ€“100 rooms is highly preferred.
โ€ข Proven ability to lead multi-department hospitality teams.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service management.
โ€ข Experience overseeing housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance functions.
โ€ข Proven experience implementing operational controls and accountability systems.
โ€ข Proficiency in hospitality management systems and operational reporting tools.
