Here’s my simple 3-step follow-up strategy that helps turn “ghosted” leads into booked calls:
1️⃣ The Reminder Message (Day 3–5)
Keep it short and friendly. Example:
“Hey [Name], just checking in to see if you had a chance to review my last message 😊”
2️⃣ The Value Add (Day 7–10)
Share something helpful — a resource, case study, or quick tip. Show you’re there to help, not just sell.
“Thought you might find this guide helpful since we talked about improving your outreach process.”
3️⃣The Close or Break Message (Day 14–20)
This one works magic because it resets the energy.
“Hi [Name], I haven’t heard back so I’ll assume timing might not be right. I’ll close this loop for now, but feel free to reach out if priorities shift.”
More often than not, that message gets a reply.
Pro tip: Always follow up with empathy, not pressure. You’re starting a relationship, not chasing a transaction.
