Implementation of Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) in Rice Cultivation:
1. Reduces methane emissions by 40-50% from rice paddies (helping to fight climate change).
2. Saves water by 25-30%.
3. Reduces production costs (such as pumping and labor).
4. Improves soil quality, crop health, and increases yields by 10-15%.
