In many workplaces, visibility matters as much as performance — sometimes even more.

🐝 The Bee

Works hard.
Produces quietly.
Keeps everything running.
But rarely speaks up, rarely shows their impact.
Result?
Often unnoticed. Often undervalued. Often passed over.

🦚 The Peacock

Shows their work.
Talks about achievements.
Makes sure leaders know what they contribute.
Result?
They get attention, recognition, and opportunities.

Is it fair?

Not always.
But it is the reality in many organizations.

The Lesson:

Hard work is essential.
But visibility is a skill, and a necessary one.

If you’re a “bee,” remember:
You don’t need to become a full peacock —
but you must learn to share your wins, present your work, and make your impact visible.

Because in today’s workplace:
Silent effort helps the company…
Visible effort grows your career.

THE “GREEN GLASS PRINCIPLE”

How Coca-Cola Accidentally Created One of the Most Recognizable Colors in History**

In 1915, Coca-Cola held a national contest.

They wanted a new bottle design.
Something unique.
Something iconic.
Something people could recognize instantly, even in the dark.

But one small glass factory in Indiana made a mistake.

When they searched the dictionary for “coca” and “cola,” they thought they found two ingredients:
coca leaves and kola nuts.

So they guessed the bottle should match the color of the kola nut.

Their mistake led them to use sand with natural green minerals.
This turned the bottle a distinctive green tint.

When the prototype came out of the furnace, the team panicked.
It looked nothing like the clear bottles competitors used.
It didn’t match anything in the beverage industry.

They almost threw it away.

But when they placed the bottle on the table, something unexpected happened.
It stood out.
It popped visually.
It was unmistakable.

Coca-Cola approved it immediately.

That accidental green color became the famous “Coke Bottle Green.”
Today it is legally trademarked.
It appears in marketing, merch, packaging, and global Coca-Cola branding.

One of the most recognizable colors on earth was born from a mistake.

💡 THE BUSINESS LESSON

Consumers do not remember what blends in.
They remember what stands out.

Coca-Cola did not win because they were perfect.
They won because they embraced something bold, unusual, and different.

This same pattern appears across major brands:

• Tiffany embraced robin-egg blue
• Caterpillar embraced construction yellow
• UPS embraced brown
• Home Depot embraced safety orange
• Apple embraced pure white
• Ferrari embraced racing red

Colors are not decoration.
Colors are memory devices.

The right signature element makes your brand impossible to forget.

🧠 THE NERDY TAKEAWAY

The “Green Glass Principle” teaches this:

Your next big branding breakthrough might come from the one thing you almost dismissed.

The detail you think is a flaw
might be the feature that makes you unforgettable.

Coca-Cola didn’t become iconic by playing it safe.
They became iconic by embracing the color nobody expected.

Sometimes the mistake is the masterpiece.

Golden advice from Okhan Kith Meng

Most people don’t get rich from luck. They get rich because they made better choices — earlier, smarter, and more consistently than the average person. It’s not about sudden miracles. It’s about daily trade-offs.

Real wealth is built when you:
- Say no to the 5th pair of shoes… and yes to investing that money instead.
- Choose to learn a high-income skill after work, instead of just complaining about your boss.
- Take the harder route of saving 20% of your income, even when it’s tempting to upgrade your lifestyle.
- Start that tiny side hustle, even if it only makes $50 this month.
- Be patient when it’s boring, and consistent when it’s quiet — because real wealth doesn’t show off early.

What does “creating wealth” look like in real life?
- Your friend who eats at home more often now owns two small apartments.
- That coworker who freelances on weekends is earning more passively than their base salary.
- The quiet guy who stopped upgrading his phone every year? He just launched his online business.
- The girl who invests instead of shopping on payday? She doesn’t panic when emergencies come — because she built her cushion.

People didn’t just get lucky. They get serious. Stop saying “if I had more money, I’d make better choices.” The truth is: If you make better choices, you’ll end up with more money.

It starts small: $5 saved is $5 not wasted, $20 invested is $20 with potential and $1,000 kept is power — not for today’s wants, but for tomorrow’s freedom.

Wealth is not a wish. It’s a choice. And it’s waiting for you to start making it — one smart move at a time, decision by decision.
