ItaCham is delighted to congratulate Isabella Galliano, daughter of our member Anthony Galliano, on two remarkable achievements in just a few days.

At only 13 years old, Isabella was crowned Winner of Cosmo Kid’s Star 2026 in Vietnam 🇻🇳 representing Cambodia 🇰🇭 on the international stage. Shortly afterwards, on the evening of 13 August, she achieved another success at home, being crowned Face of Cambodia Kids & Junior 2026 ✨

With Cambodian, American and Italian roots, Isabella represents a wonderful example of the multicultural connections that enrich Cambodia’s growing creative and fashion scene. In May 2026, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the Institute of Standards of Cambodia (ISC) signed an agreement initiating the national adoption of 58 Eurocode parts, with the process expected to be completed by June 2027.

In practice, this could provide architects, engineers, developers and suppliers with shared technical references, improve safety and quality, and facilitate cooperation with European—including Italian—companies.

This is particularly relevant for Italy, with its strong expertise in architecture, engineering, construction materials and interior design, potentially creating new opportunities for technical exchange and business partnerships.

ItaCham welcomes this important milestone and congratulates the EuroCham Real Estate & Construction Committee, including its Italian member Nplus, as well as all the European and Cambodian institutions that contributed to its achievement.
