Following points were the steps of what our team in this group has had real practice in Data Collection Management and Quality Assurance for a larger survey with a sample size of 1,898 respondents:
1. All the research team leaders, data collection team leaders, and enumerators were equipped with the four days training on data collection techniques and piloting
2. Used Tablet Kobo form to collect the data in order to avoid the missing in filling the information as well as to make an ease in storing the data, checking the completion rate and controlling the quality in at once
3. Each research team leader was assigned to supervise 1 or 2 data collection team leaders and 8 enumerators during field work
4. Each data collection team leader was asked to support 5 or 6 enumerators while they encountered any problems especially the issues related with respondents and technical issues with the interview and data collection tools
5. Overall leadership and management for the whole research team were provided by lead consultant
6. Lead consultant supervised all research team leaders, data collection team leaders, and enumerators as well as to ensure the quality of data collection through conducting daily reflection (30 minutes) every ending of daily data collection
7. The lead consultant randomly selected the collected data to check its reliability through recollecting the data for specific items in the questionnaires
8. The daily report including the completion rate and specific individual cases of respondents was collected from research team to make sure that all cases were well managed and addressed.
