Warm greetings to you all!

I'm so excited to finally open the doors to this new space dedicated to one of my greatest passions: empowering sustainable futures through design, planning and education.

As the Founder of Sustainable Design 11 (SD11) and through my work as a Lecturer, Architectural Engineer and Urban Planner, I've had the privilege of contributing to the built environment with a focus on sustainability. My experiences, from being an Australia Awards Scholar, YSEALI ProFellow, GYCN’s Climate Ambassador, Young Biodiversity Leader, Brisbane International Student Ambassador to a UNCC:Learn Champion and a Youth Jury member for AIPH’s World Green Cities Award, have shaped my vision to drive positive change in the Southeast Asia, especially in Cambodia.

This page is a platform for us to explore how intelligent design, thoughtful planning, and collective action can lead to greener, more liveable cities. You can expect insights, discussions, and resources aimed at building a brighter tomorrow.

Thank you for being here! What's one word that comes to mind when you think of a 'sustainable city'?

Best regards,
Vathanak Soeun, MPIA (Full Member of Planning Institute of Australia)
