H.E. Keo Rottanak, Minister of Mines and Energy, highlights Cambodia’s strategic measures to mitigate the impact of global price shocks on local consumers:
"To shield our people from the full impact of global price shocks, the government is forgoing between $55 and $70 million every month in petroleum duty, and we have reduced LPG import duty to zero. We have diversified our supply across Singapore, Brunei and other partners, and the support we provide has been carefully calibrated to remain sustainable over the longer term."
