“There has been a lot of discussion about Gen Z. At times, they may feel misunderstood. But from my experience and research, I see this generation as a strong asset if we engage them in the right way:

1. They are highly intentional in how they communicate and interpret meaning, which pushes all of us to be clearer and more thoughtful leaders.
2. They are driven by purpose. When they understand the “why,” they move with clarity and ownership.
3. They are willing to experiment and take risks. While not every attempt succeeds, this mindset is exactly what drives innovation and progress.

At the same time, for this connection to work, it must go both ways.

For our senior leaders, this program is an opportunity to go beyond guidance to actively open doors, share access, and invest in the next generation in a meaningful way.

For our younger alumni, this is a chance to learn not only from ideas, but from experience, understanding how systems work, how decisions are made, and how leadership is exercised in real-world contexts, whether in institutions, organizations, or communities.

Because leadership is not built in isolation. It is shaped over time through exposure, discipline, and the willingness to learn from those who came before us.”

My take: Graduates from abroad almost always become idealists. But they will find themselves returning home having to learn about their country all over again from a fresh perspective. They should be humble and flexible.

Wedding is a checkpoint. Here are 3 hard truths about “forever”:
1. Love grows stronger through hard moments.
2. Marriage grows stronger with patience and choosing each other again and again.
2. Birthing a child and building a family is a lifetime commitment.

I pray that everyone is loved. ❤️
