Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

We now live an age where entertainment is on an all time high because the restlessness and boredom of persons seem to be ever present. This search for constant entertainment has led to the destruction of many souls and the loss of peace and contentment and rest for the soul. On the contrary, Christ has made it all accessible in Him. There is the salvation of souls, the obtainment of peace and contentment as well as rest to the soul. There is also entertainment in Christ but it caters to the Spirit and not to the flesh so that we are edified spiritually to be more in Christ than in the world. The Word of God offers more than you could ever hope and dream for? Won't you rest in His Word today?

Psalm 112:1(AMP) Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favoured by God] is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience] Who delights greatly in His commandments.

Without the fear of the Lord, there is no real Worship. How can we worship God and have no regard in reverencing Him or obeying Him? How can we worship Him without love or fear wrought through awe? When we gain the Spirit of the fear of the Lord then can we worship God with sincerity in Spirit and in truth. We should all press toward this mark in obtaining the Spirit of the fear of the Lord. There is a blessing that come on those who fear the Lord and those who delight in His commandment. Don't you want to partake in this blessing because you have the fear of the Lord and delight in His commandments?

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

We know that Christ is with us and he will never leave us. We also are comforted by the hope of His return to take us to heaven in His Father's house. The world may say "a promise is a comfort to a fool" but we know that God's Word is established in truth, therefore, HE CANNOT LIE!!! Let God be true and every man a liar!! He is coming back and He gave us a token of His promise - HIS HOLY SPIRIT!!! The presence of this Holy Spirit in our hearts makes our hope unashamed. Be Not Ashamed of your hope in Christ.

Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.

Sometimes we are faced with circumstances in life where our faith would be exposed to others and we become afraid so we hide it. Don't you know your faith wasn't meant to be hidden? With terrorists on the loose to combat Christian faith it is the perfect time for our faith to become stable and shine regardless of the opposition. Someone needs the light in you to come out of darkness. No matter what, God promises to deliver you like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and Daniel for standing up for your faith. Aren't you motivated to let your faith be seen? It is evidence of the unseen.

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

The eternal God is our refuge which means our refuge is eternal. Underneath this refuge are His everlasting arms and it is with these arms that he protects us and will not cause us to perish. These same protective arms thrust out the enemy from before us and after he is thrust out God gives the command. DESTROY THEM!!! Like the children of Israel passing through the Red Sea. He gave them refuge on the other side after passing through the Red Sea and as the Egyptians were thrust out from the Israelites by the pillar of God, when they began going through the Red Sea God gave Moses the command and the Waters engulfed the Egyptians and destroyed them. Rejoice all!!!!!! For the enemy's you see today you shall see them no more!!!!! GOD IS OUR REFUGE!!!!

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are those who are pure in their hearts. Pure meaning not containing any mixture or contaminants of the world. When the heart is pure then will you be able to see God in the truth of who He is. For only the pure can truly perceive the Pure. Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The Lamb of God which sits in the midst of the throne shall feed all of His people. None of them shall be lean and famished to malnutrition but we shall be fed by the fat of His table. Then He shall lead us to the living fountains of waters where we will never thirst again for after we have drank of the living water it will be a well sprung up in us unto everlasting life. And God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes for their will be no more suffering, death, war, conflict and the fruits of sin. Glasses made solely for the purpose of viewing solar eclipses have been created and certified by NASA with an "ISO 12312-2" stamp. If this is not on your glasses DO NOT USE. 3D glasses are also prohibited for viewing solar eclipses. This afternoon certain regions in the western Hemisphere will experience degrees of darkness from the solar eclipse with the path of totality crossing the United States of America and then off into the Atlantic with the isles of the Caribbean experiencing a partial solar eclipse. Solar eclipses are prophetic signs in the Bible for all the world to be warned of the times ahead. Is God sending a message to the US and by extension the world. YES!! When we have been born again, we take the invitation to mature in Christ and when we have matured we will be trusted with the task of being an ambassador for Christ. Heaven is our home and while we are here on Earth we will be representatives of Christ and heaven to the heathen so that the glory of God will be made manifest in the Earth as we boldly declare Christ to the nations. Psalm 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

What's all the celebration about? Why is your heart glad and why is your glory rejoicing? It's the good news that our flesh shall also rest in hope. This flesh is corrupted and its mind is what gives us the problem of always wanting to sin when we have made a decision to follow Christ. Our flesh will rest in hope because One day this corruptible shall be raised in incorruption and there will be no more sin for the desires of the corruptible flesh have passed away.
