Why is 4°C important in centrifugation? ❄️🧪

During centrifugation, especially at high speeds, friction and mechanical movement can generate heat inside the chamber. This temperature increase can negatively affect sensitive biological samples.

Keeping the centrifuge at around 4°C helps maintain sample stability by reducing the risk of protein denaturation, enzyme activity changes, cell damage, and degradation of DNA/RNA.
