Canadian and in Korea this year? Your story can help.
A March 2026 study by Languages Canada and Academica Group found gaps in the data on Canadians who take part in work and travel programmes abroad. Languages Canada is now collecting short first-hand accounts from Canadians aged 18 to 35 on a 2026 work or travel programme abroad, Korea included, to inform its work on youth mobility and future policy discussions.
As a thank-you, a limited number of eligible participants can receive a CAD 200 travel voucher, offered with Air Canada and Uber.
Languages Canada told Korvia that E-2 teachers (EPIK, private academies) are within the campaign audience. It decides eligibility, and applying does not guarantee a voucher.
The official form asks for a Canadian passport with a valid Working Holiday or Youth Mobility type visa, travel between January 1 and December 31, 2026, and a short video or one-page account. You also agree that Languages Canada may publish it. You apply directly to Languages Canada. Korvia does not collect your story, choose recipients, or promise any policy result.
The application form also explains which job details Languages Canada may share with IRCC for International Experience Canada reporting. Read that part before you submit. Places are limited, so check the live terms first.
