2026 PEMNA T-CoP Study Visit Day 3

KFIS shared their vision for fiscal information disclosure and the expansion of AI adoption in dBrain+, followed by the National Information Society Agency, who presented on the public sector's AI strategy and its application in fiscal management.

Over the three days, we hope participants from the BTr walked away with practical insights to bring back to their own fiscal data systems and AI initiatives.

2026 PEMNA T-CoP Study Visit Day 2📊

Day 2 has kicked off!

KFIS shared valuable insights on fiscal data analysis systems and data-driven operational support, showcasing how data can power smarter public financial management. 💡

Participants then headed to the Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center (GKEDC) 🏢 for a site visit, where GKEDC staff gave a great overview of the center's work and mission.

Another day of learning, connecting, and exchanging ideas! 🤝

The 2026 PEMNA T-CoP Study Visit has officially begun today at the Korea Fiscal Information Service (KFIS) in Seoul.

Under the theme "Advancing Public Financial Management through Active Cash Management and Predictive Data Analytics," participants from the Philippines Bureau of Treasury and the Korea Ministry of Planning and Budget will spend the next three days exchanging knowledge and experiences.

The program opened with remarks from Dr. Kyoungsun Heo (PEMNA Secretariat), representatives from the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury, and the Korea Ministry of Planning and Budget, followed by the first presentation on Korea's Public Financial Management system.

Looking forward to three days of insightful discussions and stronger collaboration!

📢 2026 PEMNA HLPC Day 2 Update: Afternoon Sessions

In the afternoon, sessions continued across all three Communities of Practice (CoPs), covering “Data Analytics and Spending Reviews Supporting Budget Formulation and M&E” at the B-CoP, “Managing Cybersecurity Risks in Treasury” at the T-CoP, and “Data Integration / Data Sharing” at the Revenue CoP.

Thanks to all participants, all three sessions saw active participation and fruitful discussions. 💡

This wrapped up Day 2, closing a full day of discussions. As AI becomes increasingly important across all areas, we hope participants take back useful insights from today.
