ANAK: Tay, puede bang mag tanong?
TATAY: Sige anak, ano yon?
ANAK: Magkano 'tay sweldo mo kada araw?
TATAY: Di mo na dapat paki-alaman yon! Bakit naitanong ganyang tanong??
ANAK: Please 'tay, gusto ko lang po malaman sweldo mo sa isang araw.
TATAY: Kung alam mo lang, sumasahod ako ng 500 pesos isang araw.
ANAK: Ohhh.. (napa yuko ang ulo)
ANAK: Ah 'tay! Pwede bang maka hiram ng 20pesos??
Medyo inis na napa-isip yung tatay.
TATAY: Kung ang dahilan mo ng pagtatanong kung magkano sahod ko kada araw ay yang walang kwentang dahilan mo at para maka bili ka ng laruan mo, pumunta ka na lang ng kwarto at matulog! Nagpapaka hirap ako mag trabaho araw araw para lang sa makasariling dahilan na yan??
Tahimik na pumasok ng kwarto ang bata at isinara ang pinto.
Umupo ang tatay at mas nainis pa habang iniisip ang tanong ng bata. "Pano niya naisip na magtanong kung magkano sahod ko kada araw para lang mangutang?"
Pagkatapos ng isang oras huminahon ang tatay at nag isip uli bakit siya natanong ng bata.
"Baka naman kaya nanghihiram ng pera ang anak ko ay may kailangan talaga siyang bilhin na importante dahil madalas di siya humihingi sakin."
Pumunta sa kwarto ng bata at binuksan ang pinto.
TATAY: Anak, gising ka pa ba?
ANAK: Opo 'tay gising pa ko.
TATAY: Iniisip ko anak na baka kaya ka nanghihiram ng pera ay baka may bibilhin kang importante talaga. Baka masyado ko naging mainitin kanina. Eto na ang 20 pesos na hinihiram mo.
Tumayo ang bata at ngiting ngiti.
ANAK: Ohhh.. Salamat po 'Tay!
Tapos may kinakapa sa ilalim ng unan ang bata at nakuha ang mga lukot na perang papel. Nakatitig ang tatay at mas lalong nagalit na sa bata. Dahan dahang binilang ng bata ang lukot na perang papel at tumingin sa tatay.
TATAY: (pagalit) Bakit kailangan mo pang manghiram ng pera kung meron ka naman na pala???
ANAK: Dahil hindi po sapat ang perang naipon ko, pero ngayon po sakto na Tay.. 'Tay, meron na po akong 500 pesos. Puede ko po bang bayaran ang isang araw mo bukas para makasama at maka laro man lang kita mag hapon? Gusto po kita maka laro...
Natulala ang saglit ang tatay, tumulo ang luha..pagkatapos, niyakap niya ng mahigpit ang bata. Humingi ng tawad sa lahat, lalo sa kawalan niya ng oras para sa anak.
Guys, maikling paalala lang po. Baka nga naiibigay mo ang pangangailangan ng pamilya at anak mo. Pero baka dahil sa pagsisikap natin para kumita, wala kang oras sa kanila o kaya nasa malayo ka lagi. Tandaan mo bilang isang magulang. Hindi material na bagay lang ang kailangan ng mga anak sa buhay nila. Kundi ang gabay at presensiya mo sa kanila bilang magulang.
May opportunidad na para sayo para maka piling mo sila, magkaron ng oras ganon din ng pera para sa kanila at sa mga pangarap nila. Desisyon mo lang hinihintay. Naghihintay ka pa ba na sabihin yan sayo ng anak mo???
