: Hi everyone, this coming week, June 26th - 30th, is the final week for the Cayman Primary School lunch program, Feeding Our Youth. Although it was a short program, the feedback from the schools was very positive. The children were just the best and the most encouraging.

I'm looking forward to continuing the program in the Fall, and also, possibly do a few lunch days during the Summer. This, however, depends on the assistance I receive from volunteers and donors (meals & monetary).

So please pass the word around.

In oder for the Summer program to work, I will need more restaurant partners that are willing to donate meals (once a week or whatever they can offer), as well as monetary donations and volunteers to assist with the deliveries.

I'd like to thank those volunteers that came out this past month! If anyone is interested in delivering this coming week, please send me a message. Thanks.

: Along with our meal deliveries yesterday, Feeding Our Communities was also able to raise enough funds to purchase grocery gift cards for four families. The families were especially thankful for this lovely surprise!

: It's been a while since my last post, but for this new year, I'd like to help spread the word about a worthy cause.

A new community program was created last November called Feeding Our Communities. It was created in an effort to generate funds for families in need in the Cayman Islands. This past Christmas, the funds raised went to 11 families in the form of well-needed groceries.

The organizer would love to see this effort continued as there are so many more families here that are in desperate need of assistance, and it cannot be left up to our Government to do it all.
