FYIv🔇 WORC sends reminders.
Employers are reminded to ensure that their pension obligations are up to date when applying for work permits.
As part of the application process, WORC may identify an employer as being listed on the pension delinquency list. Where this occurs, the employer may be required to provide a Letter of Good Standing from their Pension Plan Administrator before the application can proceed.
Employers who are in arrears, or who are not current with an agreed payment plan, are encouraged to address these matters as early as possible with their Pension Plan Administrators to avoid delays with work permit applications.
