My world was turned upside down last night. I was driving with my son in the car when a drunk driver slammed into us. It was a terrifying moment, but the most gut-wrenching sound was my son's cries from the passenger seat. That sound will forever be etched in my memory.

The fear and helplessness I felt in that moment are hard to describe. But in the midst of the chaos, a wave of gratitude washed over me when I saw that we were both okay. My son and I walked away with bumps, bruises, and headaches, but we are alive. I'm so incredibly thankful that we are safe.

This experience has been a stark reminder of how precious and fragile life is. Please, if you're ever thinking of driving after drinking, remember my story. Remember my son's cries. It's not worth it.
