🇰🇿🇮🇱 President of Kazakhstan Meets with Speaker of the Knesset of Israel Amir Ohana

➤ President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the visit of the Israeli parliamentary speaker to Kazakhstan demonstrates a shared commitment to strengthening Kazakh-Israeli relations. He highlighted the significance of this visit in terms of exploring prospects for bilateral cooperation.

✔️ Special attention during the meeting was given to trade and economic partnership.

✔️ Another key topic discussed was cooperation in the field of water resource management. President Tokayev praised Israel’s advanced technologies and confirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness for partnership in this area.

➤ Amir Ohana thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome. He noted that the multifaceted ties between the two countries continue to develop successfully, opening new avenues for collaboration.

✔️В ходе разговора, состоявшегося по инициативе израильской стороны, Ицхак Герцог поздравил Касым-Жомарта Токаева с наступающим праздником Наурыз.

✔️Главы государств обсудили перспективы углубления торгово-экономического сотрудничества между Казахстаном и Израилем, подтвердив готовность и далее поддерживать высокий уровень двусторонних взаимовыгодных связей.

📢 **January 28, 2025 – Extended Government Meeting in Kazakhstan**

During the **Extended Government Meeting**, President **Kassym-Jomart Tokayev** emphasized the importance of the **agro-industrial complex (AIC)** as a key driver of Kazakhstan’s economic growth. Over the past year, agriculture demonstrated **record-breaking growth**, surpassing many other sectors.

This success was largely due to the increase in **preferential loans** for spring fieldwork. In 2025, **700 billion tenge** will be allocated to further support agricultural producers.

The President highlighted the priority of **transitioning to high-yield crops**, **modernizing storage and processing facilities**, and **promoting Kazakhstani products** in international markets.

"We must move from inefficient subsidies to expanding accessible credit programs. This will provide a powerful boost for the sector’s development," Tokayev said.

He also stressed the importance of supporting **livestock farmers and processors**. **Vaccination and control of infectious diseases** are crucial, as they directly impact the **export potential of Kazakhstan’s livestock industry**.

📢 7 February 2025 – Presidential Address to Business Leaders in Kazakhstan

On 7 February 2025, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, met with representatives of the country’s business community. In his speech, the President emphasized the importance of building strong partnerships between the state and large business owners to achieve strategic goals.

"We need breakthrough projects in infrastructure, industry, and digitalization** to elevate Kazakhstan’s economy to the next level. These large-scale initiatives are well within the reach of major business players, as they possess the necessary finances, skilled teams, and, most importantly, knowledge and experience."
