Why do we love chasing sunsets?

I think it’s not about the color, nor the atmosphere a sunset creates. It’s about frequency. The sun lies there, just above the horizon, for a few minutes before completely setting. Its rarity creates the illusion of beauty, while we take for granted its presence throughout the daytime.

Sometimes, it happens to people as well. The more we appear to someone, the less we feel valued.

So I hope we choose someone who appreciates us not just on our special days, but mostly in our normal ways.
