Despite two months of instability in Lebanon and limited training conditions, Lebanon rose to the challenge at the Arab U20 Athletics Championship in Tunis.

Mahmoud Abou Zeid delivered a commendable performance:
* 6th place – 1500m (3:59.65)
* 6th place – 3000m (8:37.25)

The focus now shifts to the 3000m Steeplechase, with qualification already secured for the World U20 Athletics Championship – Oregon 2026.

🚨The Lebanese national team concluded its participation in the 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, held in Tianjin, China, from February 6 to 8, in the first round, achieving the following results:

• Andrew DANNY (Men’s 60m): 6.92 s
• Noureddine HADID (Men’s 60m): 6.97 s
• Haya KOBROSLY (Women’s 60m): 7.82 s

غادر ظهر اليوم الخميس المنتخب اللبناني المشارك في البطولة العربية ال(٢٨) لإختراق الضاحية، والتي ستقام في جمهورية العراق – محافظة نينوى/الموصل، وذلك يوم السبت الواقع في 24 كانون الثاني 2026.

ويضمّ الوفد اللبناني اللاعبين علي الرضا كنعان وعلي مرتضى.
كما وصل يوم أمس إلى العراق المندوب الفني للإتحاد العربي لألعاب القوى، السيد نعمة الله بجاني (نائب رئيس الاتحاد اللبناني لألعاب القوى).

نتمنى للعدائين المشاركين كل التوفيق والنجاح في هذه البطولة العربية 🇱🇧✨

وصول المندوب الفني للإتحاد العربي لألعاب القوى السيد نعمة الله بجاني (نائب رئيس الإتحاد اللبناني لألعاب القوى) إلى العراق، ويعبّر عن سعادته بإستضافة العراق للبطولة العربية لإختراق الضاحية بنسختها الـ(28) في محافظة نينوى، مؤكداً جاهزية العراق لهذا الحدث العربي الكبير، ومتمنياً النجاح والتنظيم المميز لجميع الوفود المشاركة في هذه البطولة.
