Afterwards, water gets exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light and then the Ozone treatment so that all the bacteria disappear. The final step would be to transfer the water into a rustproof tank to be later pumped into the bottle filling machines. It is worth noting that during the bottling process water remains natural and mineral as no chemicals are added to it. Laboratory:
Arz factory has a highly developed laboratory from the international chemical company “BioLab”. A professor specialized in water is assigned to study the company’s water and send weakly reports to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health. Bottle filling process:
Arz Company fills bottles of sizes 0.5, 0.75, 5, 10 and 18.9 liters. The bottling process starts with cleaning and sterilizing the empty bottles in a little room created for this purpose. The sterilizing operation aims at totally destructing bacteria, if need be. The next step consists of filling the water bottles entirely before closing them tightly. It is to note that this whole operation is performed through an automated system run by Siemens. The bottles are filled and closed on a transportation belt which works on air pressure.
