A simple summary of one day in Germany— but somehow, one day can hold so much.

A day of work, meetings, meaningful conversations, new ideas, and moments of reflection. Between one discussion and another, there was space to listen, exchange, learn, rethink, and connect the dots.

Some meetings bring decisions, others bring questions. Some conversations give you answers, while others simply make you look at things from a different perspective.

And beyond the work itself, there were the small moments , the spontaneous conversations, the shared laughs, the unexpected encounters, and the quiet moments that give you time to process everything.

Looking back, it wasn’t just another busy day. It was a day of movement, learning, connection, and reflection — a reminder that growth often happens in between the meetings, the conversations, and everything else that fills the day.

As part of our ongoing work in youth capacity building and curriculum design for non-formal learning, Ms. Sahar Esper, Founder of PATH Network, had the privilege of taking part in an international conference on Critical Youth Work in Germany.

Six days of intensive learning, exchange, reflection, and collaboration brought together 87 leaders and specialists from countries, spanning Europe, Africa, the United States, and the Middle East.

Through dozens of workshops, presentations, discussions, and shared experiences, we explored strategies, policies, and new approaches to strengthen youth work in increasingly complex contexts.

Most importantly, we return to Lebanon not only with new knowledge, but with new perspectives, tools, policies, and approaches to translate into our future work with young people and youth workers.

Because international exchange becomes meaningful when what we learn travels back home and creates impact. 🌍🤝🇱🇧

In times of constant change, spaces like this are more than just gatherings, they are platforms for learning, exchanging ideas, and turning experience into practical action.

Every workshop, every conversation, and every shared insight strengthens our ability to adapt, innovate, and lead with purpose. Learning alongside professionals and leaders from diverse fields broadens our perspectives and reminds us that some of the best solutions emerge through collaboration.

Empowering young people starts with investing in the skills that shape their future.

We were pleased to welcome representatives from UNHCR and ILO Arab States during their visit to one of the ongoing training sessions delivered as part of Khuta program which is implemented by INJAZ Lebanon, where PATH Network is proud to contribute to preparing youth for the evolving world of work.

Through interactive learning, practical experiences, and career-focused activities, participants are strengthening their job readiness skills, enhancing their employability, building confidence, and developing the competencies employers value most ,from communication and teamwork to problem-solving, professionalism, and career planning.
