What ever your job might be, a time will come when you'll have to make a phone call to reach a decision maker of some company, and everytime, you get postponed, put off, or even controled by the phone operator or the secretary.
But don't worry, there are techniques used by trained salesmen where you can easily get to your target. The most common and used technique and mostly used by me is the (dry call) technique.
The good side of it is that you don't have to lie about anything, not about your name or your company's name and it's very fast and efficent.
This technique consists of being firm on ur side of the telephone. No information concerning your call are allowed. No friendly conversation whatsoever will be in your favor.
Here's the deal. You make the call, the operator/secretary answers:"hello XWZ company may I help you etc.." You don't say hello or how are you and stuff, you only say :" Mr XWZ if you please" you don't ask questions like (can I?) Or (may I?). Basicaly she's going to ask you your name and the reason of your calling, your answer must be:"is he there? Tell him it's ABC" and here my friends the operator will be confused, scared and swallowing the hook... She'll call the designated person and tell him that Mr ABC is on the phone and believe it, he will take the call what ever he's doing.
Try it and tell me what happens... Good luck
P.s. It works on the same person everytime !!!
It's just another sales solution
