THE RAIN HAS EASED, BUT LIFE IS NOT “BACK TO NORMAL” FOR EVERYONE
In the past days, so many families and small businesses have been cleaning, repairing, and trying to piece life back together after the floods. For many, it is tiring, messy, and emotionally heavy.
This post is not about solar, or systems, or projects. It is simply to say: if you are still recovering, we are thinking of you.
You are not alone in feeling this way.
As a team, we have colleagues, friends, and customers who have been affected. We have heard your stories, your fears, and your resilience. It has reminded us that behind every roof and every building there are people, memories, and lives.
For now, the most important things are very simple:
- A dry place to sleep.
- Enough to eat and drink.
- People who check on you.
- Space to feel tired, sad, or overwhelmed without pretending to be “okay.”
If you are still in the middle of recovery, please take things one step at a time. Rest when you can. Ask for help where possible. There is no “right” way to feel after something like this.
We are deeply grateful to all first responders, volunteers, neighbours, and quiet helpers who are doing what they can, often without recognition. You are the reason communities heal.
We won’t use this moment to talk about services or offers. We only want to say:
We see you. We care. And we believe Sri Lanka will heal, slowly but surely, together. 🇱🇰
