Pradeep Kannangara: Leading with Courage, Building with Trust

For Wing Commander (Retd). D. Pradeep S. kannangara, leadership was forged where hesitation carried a cost. Commissioned into the Sri Lanka Air Force as a Pilot Officer, he went on to command its Special Air Borne Force and receive the Rana Sura Padakkama for gallantry.

A fire drill you ran once in 2023 is not a disaster plan. Flooding, fire, civil disruption — the businesses that recover fastest are the ones that rehearsed the response before they needed it.

This International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, ask yourself: does your site have an evacuation route, a command point, and a team that knows both by heart?

We build that plan with you, before the emergency does it for you.

Standing alert through a twelve-hour shift, alone at a gate, takes more than physical stamina.

On World Mental Health Day, we're checking in on the people who check in on everyone else. Our officers get real rest breaks, real supervision, and someone to talk to when a shift gets heavy.

A well-supported guard is a more alert guard — and that protects you too.

3 AM or 3 PM, the check is identical. Same ID scan. Same visitor log. Same walk around the perimeter.

Consistency is not glamorous, but it is the entire product. A guard who cuts corners at midnight is a guard who cuts corners at noon.

Celebrating Little Achievers and Their Big Dreams!

This Children’s Day, AB Securitas had the joy of celebrating a very special part of our extended family — the children of our team members.

Filled with smiles, laughter, and proud moments, the celebration was made even more meaningful as we recognized their achievements with special gifts and encouraged them to keep learning, dreaming, and reaching for more.

Because every little achievement deserves to be celebrated, and every big dream deserves to be encouraged.

Childhood should be about laughter, friendships, little adventures, and big dreams — not worries.

While they discover the world around them, it’s our responsibility to help create an environment where they can simply learn, play, smile, and just be kids.

This Children’s Day, we celebrate every child and the carefree moments that make childhood unforgettable.

Happy Children’s Day from AB Securitas.

Most premises have a gap nobody has looked at in years - a side entrance, an unlit corner, a door propped open every afternoon.
A structured site assessment finds them before someone else does.
