I studied at Ananda College, one of the most prestigious schools in Sri Lanka.
Like many students, I had dreams—but unlike many, I never held a badge of authority.
I was never part of a board.
Never a president.
Never a secretary of any society during my school years.
At that time, I was just another student—full of ambition, but without recognition.
Years passed.
Then something extraordinary happened.
At 22 years old, I walked back into Ananda College—not as a student, not as an observer—but as a Guest of Honor at the Commerce Day.
Soon after, I stood there again—this time as the Chief Guest at the Ananda College Entrepreneur Society AGM.
The same place where I once stood unnoticed
invited me back to lead, to speak, to inspire.
And this didn’t happen because the system suddenly changed.
It happened because one person truly believed in me—when there was no reason to, no title to justify it, no proof except faith.
That belief changed my life.
"I am the one going to MIT but you are the one who truly deserves it."
Because success is never built alone.
It is built on belief—especially when it comes from someone who sees your future before the world does.
