Urgent Requirements
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Marine)
Location: Abudhabi, UAE
Role Summary:Quantity Surveyor with marine construction experience to support both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities across ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Assist with tendering, quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimation and bid preparation
⦁ Measurement and valuation of completed works
⦁ Preparation of interim payment applications
⦁ Assist with variations, claims and final accounts
⦁ Monitor project costs and support cost reporting
⦁ Review and assess subcontractor quotations and payment applications
⦁ Support subcontract procurement and commercial comparisons
⦁ Maintain variation, payment and subcontract registers
⦁ Assist with contract administration under FIDIC-based contracts
⦁ Coordinate with project, planning, procurement and finance teams
⦁ Provide commercial support across multiple marine projects
Requirements:
⦁ 3–6 years’ Quantity Surveying experience, preferably with experience in marine construction projects
⦁ Exposure to works such as dredging, reclamation, breakwaters, quay walls, marine piling, ports or coastal works
⦁ Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract activities
⦁ Basic to good knowledge of FIDIC contracts
⦁ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
⦁ UAE / GCC experience preferred

⦁ Good measurement and numerical skills
⦁ Commercial awareness and attention to detail
⦁ Good knowledge of Excel
⦁ Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
⦁ Good communication and coordination skills
