I had a chat with Laura some time back about her ads getting rejected.

She has an amazing coaching business, helping people around the world start their consulting journeys around something they love.

However, she faced issues with some ads being rejected.

Getting ads rejected here and there is pretty normal, but the biggest challenge is understanding what rule you violated.

Most advertisers don’t want to violate anything intentionally.

As you know, Facebook sometimes isn’t very specific about why your ads were rejected, which is frustrating!

Too many rejections, and bam—your ad account gets restricted!

This can make it difficult to diagnose where the issue lies because your intention is NOT to be non-compliant.

We went through a detailed compliance checklist to ensure we’re not penalized for anything within our control.

Our goal is to do everything the right way and make sure we play by the rules.

This includes setting up your business manager to protect your data, even if the worst-case scenario happens.

Launched a new appointment booking funnel for an education client, and they've already got 4 qualified appointments!

Image a system that

✅ Generates qualified leads
✅ Nurtures those leads on autopilot to get them to book a call
✅ Get booked appointments and follow up automatically and fill your calendar


This is how the system works:


A prospect comes to the page and decides to claim their FREE consultation.

Once they submit their details, they go to the second call booking page, where they can book their call.

Once done, they are redirected to a Thank You page.


As you can see, we make sure to collect the lead first before giving them the option to book a call.

This way:

1. We pre-qualify the lead and ensure they are the right kind of customer the client can serve.
2. We also make sure to collect lead information in case they don’t end up booking the call, so the client has an active lead to nurture.


✔️ Currently, this has a 26.92% lead conversion rate, and out of that, 57.14% of people are converted to an appointment.


The beauty of the system is that the whole lead nurturing and booking appointment follow-up is automated.


As soon as someone converts to a lead, we have an automated 5-sequence email to nurture these leads:


Email 1 - Introduction & set the scene
Email 2 - Help them understand the problem
Email 3 - Show the best way to solve it
Email 4 - Explain how the client’s service will help solve their problem
Email 5 - Handle objections and create FOMO


If someone ends up booking a call, they receive a series of 3 email & SMS appointment reminders:

Didn't see these errors until I checked why the campaign was not spending, and all the ads were switched off with the error "Delivery error."

The error was "No image found," lol.

Switched the ad on again, relaunched it, and it's working now, lol.

Saw this prompt yesterday and wanted to give it a shot.

Basically, to understand the biggest insight ChatGPT can gather about me based on thousands of chats I've done.

And I guess this summed up my approach.

Most businesses that connect with me are really keen on knowing,

"When can we launch the campaign?"

When I say it will take 7 to 10 days, they are kindly puzzled.

But then I proceed to explain why it takes 7 to 10 days and why I can't skip that process.

Selling or getting an action requires truly understanding your audience on a deeper psychological level.

It takes more than pressing a button to do that.

90% of the real work actually happens even before pressing that Publish button.

The thing is, good ads that generate results don't appear out of thin air.

They are the result of really understanding an audience.

Who they are What they want What they already know What they believe What narratives they already have in their heads What they've already tried & seen in the marketplace What they don't like about what they tried before What they're sceptical about & so much more

How can I market a product if I don't take the time to understand your market?

People who just want to sell skip this part because they don't see anything beyond making a sale.

A sale doesn't happen just because someone has money in their hand.

A sale happens when someone understands your business has value to offer, and that value makes sense to them.

Showing value requires empathy.

Empathy requires taking the time to understand their hopes, fears, and dreams.

And if you do this right, not only are people going to buy your product,

It's going to transform their life.

If you believe that your product or service can help someone,

Your effort at the front shows how much you care.

So, if you're marketing, care about your audience—

In fact, care a lot.

How to increase your lead quality and nurture leads on autopilot without any manual work!


This can be replicated by (changes might be needed based on the product):


1. Any service business ​
2. High-ticket digital product business that requires qualified leads ​
3. High-ticket physical product business that requires effort to close ​


Here it goes!

4 years ago, I helped a client with lead generation for their education funnel.


They were operating on a smaller budget at the time.


Some of the recommendations and options we wanted to try weren’t possible.


As a result, they decided to end the engagement since they couldn’t convert most of the leads.


Fair enough!


After that, they tried Facebook ads again with a few more agencies in the UK but had no luck.


More low-quality leads, and thousands of pounds were spent.


4 years later, they came back and wanted to give it another shot.


I was happy to help them revisit this problem.


They had a bigger budget and wanted to try what we discussed four years earlier.


So, we got back to work.


We launched our first lead-gen campaigns four months ago, and they went from:


"We are getting bad leads"

to

"The quality and profile are good, and they are converting better than in the last four years."


However, even with good leads, some were unreachable and skeptical about the solution.


So, we moved to the next challenge:


Helping convert those leads and secure more appointments to minimize calling and book appointments directly!


We built an appointment funnel.


We actually used their own Zoho CRM to build it—no ClickFunnels or Systeme, etc.


The flow is as follows:

Appointment funnel landing page (Opt-in form) > Confirmation page (Calendar scheduling option) > Thank you page.


The whole idea is that even if the person doesn't book a slot, we capture their lead to call back.


For those who book an appointment:


They receive a series of 3 email & SMS appointment reminders:

- 24 hours
- 1 hour
- 5 minutes ​


Additionally, every opt-in receives a 5-part personalized email automation to prepare and warm them up for a call (regardless of whether they book the call or not): ​


Email 1 - Introduction & set the scene ​
Email 2 - Help them understand the problem ​
Email 3 - Show the best way to solve it ​
Email 4 - Explain how the client’s service will help solve their problem ​
Email 5 - Handle objections and create FOMO ​

Drastically scaling to hit 17K registrations for the Dubai Exhibition client.

50% of the entire exhibition target is on me!

It's crazy when you think about it.

Plus, this has been a not-so-good year for most of the shows.

We started 2 months late due to a few funnel and operational challenges from the client side.

So, each week, we have to hit 3,500 registrations minimum as it is now.

As you can see, the harder we scale, the more our costs go up.

The only way to balance this is by having a more creative mix and more and more mass marketing angle ads to scale.

Careful with advantage + creative optimizations!

I don't usually use all of these optimizations, but being able to turn your static ad into a reel with music is something you should try.

However, not manually selecting/previewing the music and allowing FB to choose them automatically can make it less effective.

For example, I've seen serious ads with party music and casual/humorous ads with corporate music.

FB uses AI to scan your creative and copy and apply a few elements automatically.

But sometimes it can be way off!

This is why I still believe you need to test some of the elements, like audiences, because you are 100% relying on AI to get it right all the time.

If your test proves it works well, great!

But test first!

How to increase your conversion rate by 2.50% without touching anything in the campaign!

We started working on improving visitor registrations for this Dubai client this year.


We began using Clarity to understand the behaviour of visitors through heatmaps and scroll patterns. (Attached)


❌We noticed a few issues with the current form:
❌ Most people spent a lot of time trying to select the product category because it was extensive.
❌ The field said "Product category," so people weren’t sure if it was asking for the product category they were interested in or the product category of their own business (not specific enough).
❌ We had two optional fields (not mandatory) -

Company website URL - Less than 20% of visitors were filling out because not every business has a website

Product Detail - We anyway ask them for their interest so asking to type makes no sense


So, we just removed the additional fields because they introduced unnecessary friction without a clear benefit.


We simplified the list to 15 product options.


We renamed the field to "Market Sector of Interest" to be more specific and to encourage people who don’t even have a business to understand what this is about.


Done.

Most businesses have no idea how small changes can contribute to the big picture.


Imagine converting 2.5% higher across all your platforms (paid/organic) just from a few adjustments.


That’s a 2.5% savings in ad spend
2.5% increase in visitor growth.


All it took was 5 minutes!


Lesson - Reevaluate your funnel again.


You are building a bridge from both ends.


Don’t solely focus on the front of the bridge.

People need to safely cross the bridge too!
