How systems should be nurtured from the begining. ? Planning and initial preparation is to sustainable results. Unfortunately, this is an area most Sri Lankan domestic companies wouldn't want to pay much attention. Nonetheless, if these initial phases are not guided properly, management face resistance within organisational hierarchy to later decisions to maintain, upgrade and standardize systems be it simple operational discipline, a management standard, a fully fledged ERP system, a merger or an entry into a different market.

Key challenges for the top management is, how to adopt the introduced values into the organisation hierarchy, operational practices and management practices. Remember the word "adopt". Yes, you must properly adopt it.
