Though the gem mining, cutting, and Jewelry business have been for centuries in Sri Lanka, gems are very poorly cut. Almost all the cutters are interested in getting the maximum realization of the weight. They have not paid much attention to precision cutting. Precision-cut gemstones are cut at the correct reflective index using digital precision-cut machines. This is done according to an advanced scientific method. When stones are cut to geometrically designed this makes a world of difference to the stones' luster, light reflection, and brilliance. It’s always easy to sell and the precision cutting gives a better value to the stone. Most of the stones which are sold to the foreign markets are re-cut and polished. Sri Lanka blessed with many gem-bearing lands. Gems are found in many parts of the country. Rathnapura is the main district where gems are found. The city of Rathnapura has known the world over for its precious gems. The city of Rathnapura was famous for centauries among foreign traders. This is the Sanskrit name given to the city “Ratha” means “Gem”, "Pura” means “City”. We have placed our rough stones buying office and the lapidary in the town of Nivithigala. Nivithigala is situated in the heart of the Rathnapura District. Around the 60-75 Km radius is full of gem mines. Nivithigala is the largest rough gem market in the country. More than thousand five hundred miners bring their rough to this market for sale. Miners sell their stones to the merchants. These merchants take them to offer merchants so on and so forth. This change hands about 4-5 times before stones go to Thailand, Hong-Kong, and to new York. The main gem centers in the world are as mentioned before. The European, American, and Japanese, Chinese and Indian buyers buy from these markets. They do a recut of these stones to become precision cut stones. When the stone moves from hand to hand and from country to country the stone becomes very expensive. In our case, we buy the stones directly from the miner and do the cutting and export to the customer. We turn out a good quality precision-cut gemstone at a very competitive price. MADE OF PAYMENT:

In the last 30 to 40 years many gem deposits have been found in Africa. Madagascar, Tanzania, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, and Kenya are the main sources. Tanzania is the place where most of the stones are found. The city of Arusha has a big gem market. Traders from surrounding countries bring their finds to Arusha, Tanzania to sell. We have an office in Arusha to buy rough gemstones from miners and from traders. Since we buy directly from the source we could purchase rough stones at very attractive and competitive prices. We get them down to Sri Lanka and our master cut and carve them into masterpieces. Since we have cut off most of the middlemen our prices are good and attractive. SALE AND DELIVERY:
We provide free shipping to our customers. If not we inform them in advance. Also if we show something and deliver you with another and if the customer is not happy, the customer is given the option of returning the stones to our office in Arizona, USA. We will refund the money back to you. Please note we need to be notified and the stones need to be refunded to Arizona address within five working days from receiving the stone.
