We were pleased to be part of the AmCham BootCamp 2026 Internship Programme, engaging with young professionals through a session on “The 12 Realms of Being a Legacy Leader.”

One of the strongest messages from the session was simple: you do not need a leadership title to start leading.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to lead projects, strengthen reliability and improve engineering performance across operations?

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical projects, MEP and facility improvement initiatives, factory electrical systems, utilities, preventive maintenance and project ex*****on.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can manage multiple projects, work confidently with contractors and internal teams, and drive improvements in reliability, safety, energy efficiency and operational performance.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading electrical, MEP and facility improvement projects
• Managing project schedules, costs, quality and site ex*****on
• Overseeing factory electrical installations and maintenance
• Driving preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Coordinating contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams
• Supporting utilities including generators, HVAC, compressors and pumps
• Identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction
• Supporting testing, commissioning and project handovers

Ideal candidates should have:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Manufacturing / factory engineering experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and maintenance
• Experience in project ex*****on and site supervision
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Project
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Willingness to travel within Sri Lanka when required
